Anne Kuo, D.O.

Dr. Anne Kuo is double board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative/Holistic Medicine and is committed to optimal health and wellness for all. Dr. Kuo is originally from New York and grew up with a lot of exposure to healthy lifestyle habits and integrative medicine.

Dr. Kuo attended Tufts University for her undergraduate degree, performed clinical research at the Children’s Hospital of Boston and then earned her master’s degree in Medical Science at Boston University. Dr. Kuo moved to Southern California to attend Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a medical student, she continued to be passionate about wellness and brought yoga, meditation classes, group runs and races to the students and community.

She decided to focus on family medicine because of her interest in preventative care, and the ability to treat families because the health of an individual involves the whole family. She completed her residency at White Memorial Medical Center. During medical school and residency, she also volunteered at free health fairs, clinics, homeless shelters, and participated in medical missions to Ecuador and Peru.

Dr. Kuo is grateful to be a physician and honored to be trusted with supporting the health and wellness of her patients. She believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal and utilizes evidence-based integrative medicine to maximize this capacity.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, family and friends, trying healthy recipes and restaurants, yoga, hiking, meditation classes, exploring Los Angeles, and living with lots of gratitude, peace and love.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rahm's since 2012.  My children are also patients of Dr. Rahm and Dr. Kuo.  After years of seeing purely conventional medical practitioners, I was so happy to find physicians that treat me as a partner in my health care, respect my opinions, and are very up-to-date on the latest research and treatments.  Both Dr. Rahm and Dr. Kuo are patient and kind, which is so important when treating children (it's important when treating adults, too)!  The staff is wonderful, from the front office to the nurse and medical assistant...seriously the easiest blood draws ever!  Though Glendale is a bit of a drive from the east San Gabriel Valley where I live, it is such a little inconvenience compared to the outstanding quality of care that we receive at Oasis Family Medicine.

Unlike any medical experience I have ever had and truly worth the additional cost.  Dr. Kuo is interested in finding solutions, not just treating symptoms.  She is non-judgmental, genuine, and truly eager to help.  And she runs on time!!  I'm so grateful to have her as my doc!

I've never had a doctor review my medical history, health concerns, lab results, all so thoroughly and patiently. With every step of the treatment process, Dr. Kuo was strategic, meticulous, and genuinely caring. It was always easy to schedule follow-up appointments, and her office staff was friendly & accommodating.

For once, I feel like I'm being proactive, not reactive, with my health, and that's all thanks to Dr. Kuo.
